Research Based Method

In 2021, Singit was chosen as one of eight startups in Israel to be studied for promoting social and emotional learning, as part of the SEL Challenge promoted in Israel by the 8200 Alumni Association, the Azrieli Foundation, and the Israeli Ministry of Education. The program integrated SEL into the 7th grade English curriculum through innovative methods like learning with songs and digital tools. Research showed that while both Singit and control groups experienced overall declines in various competencies, students using Singit demonstrated better performance in social awareness and grades. A majority of students responded positively to the program, with 81% feeling they learned English better and appreciating the unique, engaging approach.

Overall, Singit’s use of music and technology made learning more enjoyable for students, leading to improvements in social awareness and academic performance. The positive reception highlights the potential for such innovative educational tools to enhance traditional learning methods, making them more relatable and effective for students.
